About

Serious stats. Petty reasons.

Petty Stats helps football fans find accurate negative statistics about a team or player, build an argument, share the evidence, and answer an opponent’s argument with a relevant rebuttal. It is built for the group chat.

What it is not

• Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League or any team. Team names are used for identification only. No logos, league marks or player photos are used.
• Not a prediction, betting or fantasy product. No odds, no picks.
• Not a place for allegations about anyone’s personal life. The humour is about professional performance, nothing else.
• Not a certification service. “Verified Petty” means the receipt passed this site’s internal checks. See the methodology.

Honesty rules

• When the evidence does not support a claim, the site says: “We checked. You don’t have a case.” That is different from “not enough data”.
• Shared receipts are immutable snapshots. If a later import corrects the source, the old link stays up with a correction notice and a link to the replacement.
• No fake users, testimonials, counters, sponsors or trending labels.

Data sources, coverage and refresh status are on the data page.
